Jess Ellis

Jess grew up in the hills of Mid Wales where her parents still have a farm. As a vet's daughter, she eventually followed in his footsteps, making Veterinary her second degree and took the opportunity to study overseas. 
After graduating in 2009, she started work in a mixed animal practice in West Wales. After initially showing an interest in equine work, she later turned her attention to small animals.

Jess started working at Heath Vets in 2013. She gained her Small Animal Surgery Certificate in 2015 and when Heath Vets joined IVC, she became Clinical Director.

Outside of work, Jess enjoys various sports, beekeeping and renovating their house. She lives with two pets, a Siamese cat called Rubiks and her partner, Chris!
