| PROCEDURE FOR OPERATIONS All our operations are done at the premises at 123/5 Heol-y-Deri, Rhiwbina, where we have well-trained nursing staff and state-of-the art facilities. Patients are admitted in the morning between 8.15 and 9.00am. You will be asked to sign a form giving your consent to the operation, acknowledging the risks involved, and agreeing to the cost estimate. You should also indicate on the Consent Form if you want to have the pre-anaesthetic blood test done (see below). It can be difficult to quote the cost of some operations accurately, but you should always be able to have an estimate. Please ask if anything is not clear.  The operations, tests, whatever, are done during the morning, and most patients are ready to go home the same day in the late afternoon. We usually ask owners to telephone at lunch time, when a progress report will be given and arrangements for going home made. Normally, we expect payment when you collect your pet afterwards. |
