HOW DO I JOIN VetProtect?

Dogs and cats can join at any time up until 10 years of age. Provided that they were registered before their 10th birthday, your pet will continue to be covered after this time.

It’s really simple to join – all you need to do is make an appointment for an assessment, so do tell the receptionist the reason for the visit and there will be no charge. Alternatively, ask your vet to carry out an assessment when you are next visiting the surgery for any other reason.

If you take with you the details of the bank account you will use for the direct debit, we can register your pet straight away, and you can then start to enjoy the many benefits of the scheme with immediate effect.

What happens if I want to cancel my membership?
That’s fine, all you need to do is write to us giving us a month’s notice, and then cancel the direct debit at your bank. The scheme operates as a monthly renewable contract so you are never committed for any longer than that. All we ask is that the amount you have paid for VetProtect membership must cover the value of any preventive care already given. If it does not, you simply pay us the balance. This does not apply to treatment for injury or illness.

What if I move away from Cardiff?<br >The VetProtect Total Care Scheme is a unique service created for clients of the Heath Veterinary Group surgeries in Cardiff.
